Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced a significant boost to the state budget for 2024, adding 500 million GEL, bringing the total to 25 billion GEL.

New Total: 7.9 billion GEL
Purpose: Enhancing healthcare services and facilities.
Ministry of Defense:

Increase: 100 million GEL
New Total: 1.5 billion GEL
Purpose: Strengthening national defense capabilities.
Ministry of Education and Science:

Increase: 80 million GEL
Purpose: Improving educational infrastructure and resources.
Ministry of Culture and Sports:

Increase: 33 million GEL

Ministry of Internal Affairs:

Purpose: Supporting local governance and development projects.
Disaster Liquidation Fund:

Increase: 60 million GEL
Purpose: Enhancing disaster response and mitigation efforts.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze emphasized the strategic importance of these budgetary increases, aiming to address critical areas and ensure balanced development across various sectors.
