The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Margus Tsahkna, did not discuss his participation in the protest in Georgia with us, but I will not go into the evaluation of the action, the style depends on each person, - Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said in response to a question from an opposition deputy.

According to the Prime Minister of Estonia, it was right for the Foreign Ministers to come to Georgia to express solidarity with the people.

"Did the Minister of Foreign Affairs discuss [with us] attending the protest? No, he did not...

I will not go into the evaluation of the action. Of course, the style depends on each person, but the fact that the foreign ministers, in this case the foreign ministers of the Baltic countries and Iceland, came to Georgia to show solidarity with the Georgian people - I think it was the right thing to do, to show that Europe is on the side of the Georgian people's choice", said Kallas.

In addition, according to the Prime Minister of Estonia, after Georgia received the status of a candidate country for the European Union, its steps are not only an internal issue of Georgia, the authority of the European Union is at stake.

"From the moment the European Union granted Georgia the candidate status, it is clear that the steps taken in connection with these reforms, which are going in the wrong direction, are no longer an internal issue of Georgia, in fact the entire authority of the European Union is at stake," she said.
