We were presented with a 9-point plan, on which, very soon, already in the summer [work will be completed] and all points will be fulfilled. This is to open negotiations. Georgia will do everything in this way, and of course, the ball will be on their side regarding the opening of negotiations, - Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze told journalists.

According to Kaladze, Georgia is an independent, sovereign state. The population of Georgia made a decision and elected the majority in the parliament in the form of "Georgian Dream" deputies.

According to his explanation, it is the direct duty of the majority to adopt the laws that the country needs, the future of the country and the development of the country, maintaining peace and tranquility in the country, economic progress and reconstruction.

"Accordingly, it is absolutely incomprehensible to the calls from the outside why a law that requires only one thing, transparency, should not be passed." During all this time, we heard many statements from abroad, however, we could not hear any arguments, except for one - "because". Even now, we are ready, if someone has a specific [position], to present why the mentioned law is problematic in terms of content, why transparency may be a problem in general, it may be against Europe, the European future, etc. It is not clear. However, we have been presented with a 9-point plan, which will be completed and implemented very soon, already in the summer, and this is to open the negotiations.
