Georgian Photographer Bakur Tvrineli Launches a New Creative Space in New York

A new creative space founded by Georgian photographer Bakur Tvrineli, The White Loft, has officially opened in New York’s Lower East Side. The opening was attended by representatives of international magazines, producers, photographers, publishers, and contemporary artists.

The White Loft is a photography studio, gallery, and event space dedicated to photography and visual culture. Its concept is rooted in the appreciation and support of photography, as well as its organic connection with cultural and brand initiatives.

“The White Loft was created as a space that brings photographers and artists together, encourages dialogue, and lays the groundwork for new perspectives,” says Bakur Tvrineli.
During the opening, Tvrineli also noted that The White Loft serves as a platform for collaboration and creative exchange, reflecting the energy, diversity, and innovative spirit of New York’s artistic community.

The White Loft is already positioning itself as an important new space on the map of New York’s contemporary photography and visual culture scene, creating new opportunities for international creative collaboration.

Bakur Tvrineli is a Georgian photographer who has collaborated for years with leading international fashion and culture publications. His work is distinguished by a strong conceptual approach and visual experimentation.

A significant highlight of his career is the art editorial “Ultra-Marine,” inspired by the paintings of British artist Alex Foxton and published in the popular German magazine PURPLEHAZE.

Notably, Tvrineli’s most recent works have been published in one of France’s most respected publications, L’Équipe Magazine.
