The decision to cancel visa regime with Georgia and restore direct flights will benefit Tbilisi. This is the result of the country's leadership's refusal to participate in the war against Russia, - Russian State Duma deputy Sergey Gavrilov made the relevant statement in an interview given to the Russian media Life.ru.
"Thousands of Georgians wanted this, because it contributes to the expansion of tourist contacts and exchange process between young people, simplification of trade procedures, unlocking of a number of investment projects, the implementation of which will connect Russia and Georgia within the framework of the North-South transport corridor, strengthen the network of Eurasian infrastructure corridors", - said the Russian MP.
According to him, he is not planning to come to Georgia yet, but he is waiting for his Georgian colleagues from the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy in Moscow.
