A demonstration in support of those detained at the June 20-21 rally was held near the Tbilisi City Court.
"Today is the trial of my son and other political prisoners. The reason for this demonstration is that justice really does not reign in this court. This is Kajeti prison, untouchable, I cannot call it a court building. My son has been on hunger strike for the 8th day. I have given this court ten days, if my son is not released in 10 days, I will also start a hunger strike in front of the parliament building. I would like to call on everyone, non-governmental organizations and opposition parties, to unite, forget each other's grievances, when is the time for grievances, the country is falling on us," said Rusudan Tamliani, the mother of one of the detainees, Besik Tamliani.
