ILHAM ALIYEV – THE VICTORIOUS COMMANDER, THE FOUNDER OF THE HISTORIC VICTORY

In modern times, there is a strong state - economic growth, a properly built political line, a strong army, social welfare, etc. it is characterized by factors. However, all of the listed factors are preceded by a competent, intelligent, far-sighted leader who manages the state, revives it, protects its integrity and rights, and adequately represents it in the political arena. Historical experience shows that as a result of the successful management of personalities distinguished by these skills at all times, the names of their countries are remembered and remain forever, even after centuries. Heydar Aliyev, a prominent statesman, world-wide politician and great leader, who has won the title of national leader of our people, has a special role among such historical figures. The thirty-five-year old period of the history of Azerbaijan, which began in the late 1960s and up to the XXI century, is associated with the name of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Today, Azerbaijan is experiencing the peak of the history of statehood with Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor to the political course of Heydar Aliyev. Expressing the will of the Azerbaijani people, Ilham Aliyev has an influential political portrait throughout the world as president. As the head of the country, he never directed a policy that was more important than the national interests of the Azerbaijani state, and most importantly, he has been an independent author of politics, not at the behest of any major state or international organization. This political path was confirmed in Azerbaijan in political stability, social welfare, successful foreign policy, economic power and strong army.

Over the past 20 years, Azerbaijan has achieved many successes under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Among the greatest successes comes the path of socio-economic development, where important results have been achieved. We feel that the work in the fields of education, health, transport, energy, tourism, agriculture, information technology has been significantly reconstructed and opportunities have been significantly expanded. Over the past decades, as a result of the systematic political strategy signed by Ilham Aliyev, we are witnessing the implementation of hundreds of major projects such as healthcare, tourism, as well as educational institutions, new highways, electrification and gasification of all regions.

During his reign as head of the country, he focused on army building as the most important issue. All this preparation had only one goal - to raise the Azerbaijani army to such a level of readiness that it would be able to liberate our occupied lands in a short time. Increasing the defense power and combat capability of the National Army, improving its material and technical equipment, as well as strengthening measures for the social protection of military personnel, are striking as priority directions of this policy.

The reality of today suggests that all major issues in the region are resolved by the will of the Azerbaijani state. Of course, this is due to a strong state and a strong army built by Ilham Aliyev. The undeniable reality is that during his 20-year reign, the head of the country paid attention to army building as the most important issue. All this preparation had only one goal - to raise the Azerbaijani army to such a level of readiness that it would be able to liberate our occupied lands in a short time. Thanks to his high intelligence and foresight, the president built an army that became the first in the history of the World War and opened a new page in the history of war with the military operations carried out in Karabakh, our eternal and inseparable part. Only 44 days were enough for the strong Azerbaijani army to demonstrate to the whole world the strength of the Azerbaijani state, the determination of our people to fight - their unshakable solidarity. Having won a grandiose victory, Azerbaijan achieved the restoration of historical justice and territorial integrity.

Today we can say with confidence that as a result of the steps taken by the Azerbaijani people since the 60s of the XX century, the choice of the right leader, today it is experiencing the highest, strongest, prosperous and powerful period of its history. The people's reliance on the national leader Heydar Aliyev, his confidence in Ilham Aliyev, who successfully followed his path, turned our goals into reality. The recognition of Azerbaijan in the international arena, its presence, its own destiny, its reputation, its transformation into a reliable partner, its participation in huge energy projects, reconstruction and restoration work covering all areas, protection and promotion of national interests became a reality with the policy and signature of Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.
